I personally first encountered her works in New York where I was then living, at The Museum of Modern Art (MOMA) and Metropolitan Museum. I was sold!
Her self-portraits that portray colourful elements of Mexican folk culture through her life which was riddled with pain & sorrow!
I wish Gyana and Vidhya the curator many such initiatives to inspire enthusiast and connoisseur alike and add panache to the Singapore artistic scene!
